Optimise
the use of the AMP-60 with your device by setting
the voltage on the AMP-60 to less than the required
voltage. This prevents the AMP-60 from charging
your device and thus extend the usage hours on
the AMP-60.
|
| When
using the AMP-60 on your laptop, you will notice
that your laptop computer actually assume that
it is using power from the AC adapter, so in this
case, you will realise that your laptop is actually
running on Full Power Mode rather than Battery
Mode or Power Saving Mode. Therefore to optimize
the usage hours on your AMP-60, it is advisable
to manually set the Power Options to a Power Saving
mode under Power Management function on your laptop.
Or alternatively, lowering the screen brightness
will also help to extend usage hours of the AMP-60.
|
| The
usage of AMP-60 is not only limited to the laptop,
you can be more adventurous to explore many other
electronic devices that can be powered up by the
AMP-60 by simply making use of the 8 standard
connectors. Here are just some of the examples
:
- Cameras,
DSLR, MP3 Players, Hard Disk Drives, Portable
DVD/VCD players
- Portable
Media Players, GPS devices, Digital Photoframes,
Wireless Routers,
- Hub/Switches,
Projectors, Amplifiers, Speakers, Sony PSP etc.
|
| Caution! |
Do not store the AMP-60 for long period of time under fully discharged or completely drained state. The most ideal capacity for long period storage is to maintain a 40% charge and store in cool temperature. Alternatively, anything more than 50% is still considerably better than 0%. Rechargeable Lithium cells with zero-charge can be damaged easily over time.
|
| Heat
is the main killer for Lithium based battery.
Do not expose the AMP-60 to extreme heat (eg,
in the car), this will shorten the battery lifespan
drastically.
|
| The
AMP-60 is manufactured using good quality gel
based Lithium Polymer cells, under extreme conditions,
the battery will not explode as in the case of
Lithium Ion cells that is commonly used in laptop
computers. Do not extend the use of the USB port
of the AMP-60 by connecting to a USB hub and attempt
to power up multiple devices at the same time,
this will cause damage the USB port. The USB port
is meant for charging one USB device at a time.
Warranty is considered void if the USB port is
found to have been misused in this manner. |
